Requesting a PayPal API signature

To accept PayPal payments for passes you sell through a form, you need API credentials from your PayPal business account. PayPal calls them the API signature. This guide shows where to find them in the PayPal account settings.

Steps

1. Open the API section in your PayPal settings

  1. Log in to your PayPal business account.
  2. Click your profile and open your Account settings.
  3. Click My selling tools and locate the API access row.

2. Request API access

Click the Update link next to the API Access section.

3. Manage API credentials

Scroll down to NVP/SOAP API integration (Classic) and click Manage API credentials.

4. Confirm the request and copy your credentials

  1. Select Request API signature and click Agree and Submit.
  2. PayPal displays your API signature data. Click Show to reveal the actual values, the API username, the API password and the signature.

5. Add the credentials to your form

Enter this information in the payment configuration of your form. Your customers can then pay for passes with PayPal.
