Can customers redeem a reward themselves from the pass?
There is no redeem button on a wallet pass, because Apple Wallet and Google Wallet have no interactive elements. Your customers redeem rewards at the counter or through your own integration.
Steps
- List the rewards and their thresholds in a field on the back of the pass.
- Show or hide a reward with a field condition once the points reach a threshold.
- Your staff scan the pass with the Smart Scan app, check the balance and deduct the points.
- For redemption without staff, for example a QR code at a booth, connect the deduction through the API.
