Yes, Smart Scan deducts a prepaid balance when you scan a pass. Add the Prepaid Card functionality to the template and set the starting value under Functionality in the template editor. A scan with the Smart Scan app then deducts the amount your staff enter.
Stored value and stamp cards are two different functionalities on the same basis. The balance is for prepaid credits, the stamp card for collecting stamps and redeeming a reward.
