How does scanning with the Smart Scan app work?
You create and distribute the passes, your staff scan them on site with the Smart Scan app, and the app checks validity instantly.
Steps
- Create the passes in Passcreator and distribute them by email, link or directly to the wallets.
- Your staff scan the QR code or barcode of the pass with the Smart Scan app.
- Without a stable connection, switch the app to offline mode. It downloads the pass data first and syncs the scans afterwards.
- Equip several phones without sharing your login. Create a configuration link under Validation and load it on each device.
- Prefer QR codes over 1D barcodes. Cameras read them more reliably.
