To gradually open up brick-and-mortar retail regulations were put in place to contain COVID cases. Among other things, stores were only allowed to welcome customers who had booked an appointment in advance so that their visit was recorded. To enable consultation and service in the stores again, Gravis was looking for a suitable solution that would also work together with the store cards created via Passcreator.
The Project
With the help of the smartervisit booking platform, Gravis was able to welcome customers again after a very short initial setup. By intuitively adapting the design elements to the company's corporate design and integrating them on its own website, a consistent customer journey was mapped.
The customer can select the day and time slot via the booking calendar. After entering the data, the appointment is booked and the customer immediately receives an appointment confirmation and the option to save their personalized access card in the form of a wallet card. The customer can access this quickly and easily as soon as they reach the store. On site, the booking can be verified contactlessly with the help of the 'Doorkeeper' by scanning the individual QR code shown on the front of the wallet card. In the background, access is documented in order to trace possible chains of infection. Customers also have the option of canceling bookings via additional information on the back of the wallet card.
Result: more than 7000 bookings within the first month
Because smartervisit is an easily deployable SaaS solution, Gravis was able to do a rollout in 40 stores across Germany and comply with Click & Meet regulations. In the first month alone, over 7000 bookings were made and compliance with the specifications was ensured. The consideration of individual opening hours and maximum permissible visitor numbers per branch offer maximum flexibility. In addition, adjustments within the regulations can be reacted to quickly. Furthermore, even after the legal requirements have been relaxed, the solution can be used as an additional service to simplify the arrangement of service and consultation appointments. smartervisit is a solution that was developed together with our partner netzwerk P on the basis of Passcreator as part of the implementation of COVID measures for businesses.
