HSV e.V. Membership
By becoming a member, you have the opportunity to make your connection to the club official and become part of the unique community of more than 87,000 members. In addition to the emotional component, membership offers further advantages, such as HSV season tickets at discounted prices. As a member of the sports department, you can also participate in sports activities.
The project
On the occasion of HSV's 133rd birthday, club members should also receive a digital membership card for use on a smartphone.
For this purpose, personalized wallet cards were created in Passcreator for all members. A QR code is printed on the physical ID cards, which contains the link to the digital version of the card. As soon as a user scans the QR code with their iPhone or Android smartphone, they are given the opportunity to save the card. In order to increase trust and to individualize the approach, the wallet cards are delivered via a separate subdomain.
For individualization, not only the membership number is printed on the card, but also background images that depend on the membership. For example, Supporters Club members receive a different background image than Kids Club members, which leads to an even more personalized address.
The badges were sent by mail. From now on, new members will always receive a digital version of the membership card, which offers the following advantages:
- Use as a digital admission ticket to various HSV events, such as general meetings
- Direct contact to the HSV e.V. office and the data change form
- News as push messages directly to the smartphone
