Google Analytics integration

With the Google Analytics integration, Passcreator includes your Google Analytics tracking code on every public page of your account. This covers the pages your customers see, such as forms and pass download pages. You enter your tracking ID once under Integrations.

Requirements

  • You need the integrations privilege to manage integrations.

Steps

Setting up the integration

  1. Go to Integrations in the sidebar.
  2. Open the Create dropdown and choose Integration.
  3. Select Google Analytics as the integration type. Its description reads "Track pass downloads and interactions with Google Analytics."
  4. Give the integration a name, then enter your Google Analytics Tracking ID. Passcreator accepts both the older Universal Analytics format UA-… and the Google Analytics 4 measurement ID format G-….
  5. Save the integration. Passcreator now inserts the tracking code on all your public pages.

Privacy

Passcreator inserts the tracking code in a way that anonymizes IP addresses. This keeps the tracking compliant with data privacy rules. You do not configure anything else for this.

Finding your Google Analytics measurement ID

For a Google Analytics 4 property, follow these steps.

  1. Log in to Google Analytics.
  2. Open Admin and select the property you want to use, or create a new one.
  3. Go to Data streams and select your web data stream. Create one if none exists.
  4. Copy the Measurement ID. It starts with G-.

If you still use an older Universal Analytics property, you find the Tracking ID UA-… in the property settings.
